Our senior-based classes are thoughtfully designed to enhance strength, mobility, and overall well-being in a safe and supportive environment.
Senior Strength: is a chair-based class that focuses on building a strong core, legs, and upper body using hand weights, bodyweight exercises, and elastic bands. With an emphasis on stability, balance, and cardiovascular health, it’s perfect for those looking to improve functional strength without getting on the floor. This class is led by a Certified Personal Trainer, 500-hour Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist, Certified Stretch Coach, Certified Senior Exercise Specialist, and Certified Health Coach.
Chair Supported Yoga: led by a Mobility Certified Yoga Teacher, focuses on gentle stretching, breathwork, and improving mobility and balance, all from the comfort of a chair. This class helps reduce stress, improve flexibility, and increase overall vitality, while providing a foundation for better balance and well-being.
Senior Stretch is a gentle, floor-based class that focuses on stretching muscles to maintain elasticity, improve balance, and reduce muscle pain and discomfort. While suitable for all levels, this class is specifically geared toward seniors, offering a soothing and restorative approach to keeping the body limber and pain-free.
